Prof. Fröhlichs gives lectures in the field of Sustainable Supply Chain Management, International Procurement, Supply Management and Global Sourcing. Besides teaching at CBS, she also gives lectures at the University of Cologne, University of Maastricht or Kozminsky University, Poland and holds a guest professorship at NUFE, Nanjing. She is a board member of several scientific organisations, e.g. BME e.V. Region Cologne or the Institute for Sustainable Management. She is speaker of the “Kölner Wissenschaftsrunde” (Cologne Scientific Circle) and Business Ambassador of the City of Cologne. Her current key research lies on the topics of Sustainable Supply Chain Management and Green Procurement, Qualification in Purchasing as well as in Strategic Supplier Management. Procurement 4.0, especially in the context of CSR, and organizational and personal challenges of an “Agile Purchase” build further main research areas. Setting up a KPI system for measuring the impact of green procurement on the Social Development Goals is a brand new research area she is focusing on. Even though strategic supply management is her major field of research she published in 2018 together with colleagues a text book

Besides teaching and research Prof. Fröhlich is also involved in numerous consulting activities covering the above mentioned topics.
